In Snowmoon, Vitalik Buterin's novel, people pay with zipcoin. It's private money in a world of cameras, reputation scores, and cities that vote on everything, including your taxes.
"50 zipcoins have just been burned."

Scenes from the Snowmoon world, the kind of stuff zipcoin gets used for.

Snowmoon has privacy robes with uneven shoes so cameras can't recognise how you walk. We're not that dramatic. $ZC is just a meme coin that loves the idea: money that's yours, and nobody else's business.
If payments are truly anon, how did they find him six months later? Read the book. 👀
